What a cute book. My son loves the adventures of Pippin and I love the fact that he learns something every time we read about his adventures. There are also questions at the end of the book to reinforce what was talked about in the book. A great story with great illustrations

A fun story of a poodle's nighttime adventure with his possum friend. He meets other nocturnal animals along the way, and learns about their habits and habitats. Full of facts presented in a way that children can appreciate. The illustrations are stunning, and includes bonus materials like coloring pages and additional animal factoids. Definitely recommended!

Pippin's Night-time Adventure is truly what the title says- that the entire group of animals in this story are really having a super adventure of a lifetime! Great illustrations and a must-read.

It is nighttime, and Pippins’s friend Blossom, the possum, asks him to join her as she goes out to see her friends. Having never been out at night, Pippin eagerly goes out to explore. They head down to the river, where they meet a wombat named Waddle, a fruit bat named Pixie, and a platypus named Platy. While exploring the river area, Pippin winds up in trouble, and his new friends must save him. This is an adventure Pippin will not forget.

Pippin joins his possum mate for a night of fun. Along the way he is introduced to the more well known nocturnal animals of Australia.
Children will enjoy learning about these creatures as the animals interact with one another. When Pippin finds himself in trouble, there is also a secondary theme about how friends help one another out.
A simple text and plot also make this a great book to give to children moving into the independent reader stage.
I love the illustrations with their lifelike animals. They compliment the text beautifully.
