The Author
Reading to children is so important. For a long time, my dream was to publish a book. I now have two series of children’s picture/story books featuring two special characters, Butterball and Pippin, both of whom are cute, adorable poodles. These picture books are about fun, adventure, kindness and friendship, with a little bit of learning and activities thrown in for good measure. I have targeted these books at young children in their first years of learning to read. I hope you enjoy my books.

This gentle story for young children follows a young Cavoodle named Pickles as he copes with the loss of his best friend, Pippin the poodle. With the help of Blossom the possum, Pippin’s long-term friend, Pickles learns to process his grief by cherishing their happy and funny memories.
This is a thoughtful, comforting picture book that opens the door to conversations many families eventually have to face.
